About the Grievance Redressal Cell

The Grievance Redressal Cell at SIAMS&RC is established to address and resolve the grievances of students and other stakeholders in a fair, transparent, and timely manner. The Cell ensures that concerns are acknowledged, investigated, and acted upon promptly, thereby maintaining a harmonious and supportive educational environment.

Students can approach the Cell directly or submit their grievances through the official grievance email.

Objectives of the Grievance Redressal Cell

  • To develop a responsive, accountable, and supportive attitude among all stakeholders.
  • To encourage students to express their grievances freely and without fear.
  • To maintain a healthy, harmonious, and positive academic atmosphere.
  • To prevent issues by addressing them early and fairly.
  • To ensure that no student faces any form of retaliation for submitting a grievance.

Mechanisms for Submitting Grievances

  • Students may submit grievances via the official email ID.
  • A Suggestion/Complaint Box is installed on campus for written submissions related to academics or administration.
  • Students are encouraged to report genuine concerns or suggestions for improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To redress grievances promptly and judiciously.
  • To investigate concerns received via email or written submissions.
  • To review all cases formally and act according to institutional policies and management directions.
  • To communicate resolutions within the stipulated time frame.
  • To ensure confidentiality and fairness throughout the process.

Functions of the Grievance Redressal Cell

1. Prompt Response
  • Each grievance is attended to immediately upon receipt.
2. Case Review
  • The Cell reviews all submitted cases and forwards them to the concerned authority when required.
3. Fair Action
  • Appropriate action is taken as per institutional policies and available documentation.
4. Resolution Assurance
  • The Cell ensures that every grievance is resolved within the prescribed time frame.
5. Positive Campus Culture
  • Advises students to avoid inciting conflict among peers or staff.
  • Encourages staff to be supportive and avoid any retaliatory behavior.
