About the Student Support, Career Guidance & Placement Cell

The Student Support, Career Guidance & Placement Cell at SIAMS&RC plays a vital role in guiding students throughout their academic journey and helping them transition successfully into professional life.

The Cell ensures that students receive the necessary support, training, counseling, and mentorship to develop confidence, competence, and clarity regarding their career prospects in the field of Ayurveda and allied healthcare sectors.

Functions of the Cell

1. Student Support

• Addressing academic, personal, and emotional concerns of students through counseling.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to help students adapt to the academic environment.
• Offering remedial support, encouragement, and monitoring progress when required.

2. Career Guidance

• Organizing workshops, seminars, and orientation sessions on career opportunities in Ayurveda.
• Guiding students on higher studies, competitive exams, and specialization pathways.
• Connecting students with industry experts, practitioners, and alumni for career awareness.

3. Placement Assistance

• Facilitating campus interviews, internship opportunities, and professional networking.
• Maintaining connections with Ayurvedic hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, wellness centers, and research institutions.
• Taking necessary disciplinary action as per institutional and legal guidelines.
• Preparing students for employment through resume writing sessions, interview training, and skill-enhancement workshops.
